A working life, set down on paper. This 1850 agreement between Choo and M. H. Marsh preserves the terms of one man's employment at Maryland Station—a small but tangible trace of migration before the gold rush. 一段劳动生涯，留在一纸协议之中。Choo 与 M. H. A small newspaper cutting can open a much larger story. This extract from the Gympie Times, dated 18 December 1919, is among the records gathered by Gympie Regional Libraries to trace Chinese lives in the district. 一小幅剪报，也能打开一段更大的故事。这则刊于 1919 年 12 月 18 日《Gympie Times》的报道，是金皮地区图书馆用来追寻当地华人生活的史料之一。
